Terrestrial Ecosystems

My interests have involved activities in ecosystem management such as tree planting, pest control and eradication, sustainability, habitat and species management and protection, advocating against and researching pollution impacts (e.g. seabirds and plastics) and raising awareness about conservation with local people and grounds everywhere I work.

In the terrestrial world I have worked extensively on wetland ecosystems impacted by drought, water rights and restrictions, as well as forests and streams with inhabitants such as frogs in Costa Rica, bird, frog, ape and bat communities in the 130 million year old primary rainforest ecosystem in Borneo and various bird species in the wet tropics.
